Encrypted backups

Tikivio’s data is backed up several times a day, encrypted, and restoration is tested every week.

What is backed up

Full databases, attachments and files, and the service configuration. Backups are encrypted and taken every 4 hours.

Every week, a restore is replayed automatically into a temporary database to check that the backups can actually be used.

A copy of the backups is kept away from the main server.

The restoration times the operator aims for are internal targets, not a contractual commitment.

An organisation administrator can export the organisation’s data at any time (JSON or CSV archive, with or without attachments).

A 14-day trial with no credit card and the capabilities of the Pro plan (storage limited to 2 GB during the trial), with no commitment.
